Scope

Program

-To design in a style consistent with the existing Victorian style home

Basement- To create a home office for the owner that does not feel like a basement, plus a backup storage and kitchenette area and TV room.

Backyard/Greenhouse- To create a place for the owner’s large collection of tropical plants that can also serve as dining expansion space for large family gatherings, and include year round heating.

Materials

Basement:
-Prefabricated grand staircase by Rintal
-Glass block
-Pergo flooring
-Painted bead board ceiling panels

Greenhouse:
-Owens Corning cultured stone veneer

Concept

Basement:
To create as much light as possible with off white finishes and backlit glass block walls.

Greenhouse:
-Radiant heated floor
-Glass and mahogany structure
-Stone landscaped patio to serve as a location for outdoor cooking and dining.
